Tartlets with wild strawberries from Nemi a favorite delicacy of tourists. Many Russian tourists who visit Rome go out of town to Roman castles to try this amazing dessert. Let's try to make strawberry tartlets. Let's see what ingredients we need:
Shortbread dough (roll out the dough in advance, before putting it in the refrigerator);
Custard;
Strawberries (strawberries or other berries);
Powdered sugar.
Roll out the dough a little more, until you get a layer of 4-5 mm. Using round tins, cut the dough circles of the appropriate size. Put the dough in molds. The mold should already be oiled and sprinkled with flour. Spread the dough over the entire volume of the mold to make even cups. Edges can be made wavy using a fork. The base of the tartlet is ready, now put it in a stove warmed up to 180º. Bake for 15-17 minutes. Remove the finished bases from the molds, cool. Now add the cream. Fill the base with cream, put strawberries or other berries. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Tartlets are ready. Enjoy your meal.

According to one version of the history of the founding of Rome, the following happened. After the death of ancient Troy, few defenders of the city managed to escape. The very Aeneas, the “engine couple,” headed them. The fugitives roamed the sea for a long time on their ships. And after a long journey, they finally managed to land on the beach.
At different times, Palermo came under the rule of the Phoenicians and Greeks, Muslim Arabs, Normans, Spaniards and French. A colorful mix of so many cultures has become the basis for creating the richest collections that the Palermo Museums are famous for. Of particular interest are the Capuchin cemetery, the archaeological museum, the astronomical observatory, the museum of Islamic culture, the puppet and sea museums.
A couple of days ago, in the capital of Italy, the famous robber of the Trevi Roman Fountain died, who stole a trifle from a local landmark with impunity for more than thirty years. Roberto Chercheletta, nicknamed D'Artagnan due to the high boots in which he "went to work", died at the age of 62, most of which he devoted to his favorite pastime - extracting coins thrown by tourists into one of the most famous fountains in the world.
Like a butterfly, not sparing its wings, flies into the light, so chocolate gourmets, not sparing their own stomachs, flock to Turin from around the world in late November. According to statistics, the CioccolaTò Chocolate Festival in Turin annually gathers more than 700 from thousands of people, and in just ten days more than 30 tons of chocolate delicacies are eaten here.
Italian restaurants and cuisine have long been a brand all over the world. And although in most cases outside of Italy, only the name remains of the brand, inside the country in almost any city the average level of restaurants and the quality of food is at a fairly high level. But for Italians themselves, no restaurant in the world can compare with the dishes prepared by their mother.
Restaurant La Piazzetta was recommended to us for a visit to Mario and Antonella, in whose villa we stayed in Sicily. The restaurant is located 7 kilometers from the center of Trapani, but a 10-minute walk from the villa. There is no problem for the Italian to drive 10-15 km for a good restaurant, and some of my friends from Bologna have dinner 40 times from their home several times a week and do not see anything strange in this.
We found the Al Capriccio restaurant by accident; we did not find a more or less decent restaurant for a 2-hour walk around Corleone, but we saw many pastries with traditional Sicilian sweets. We are very lucky, because this restaurant is open until noon, which is not often found in Italy.
On the third day of our stay in Sicily, Mario and Antonella invited us to a pizzeria. I personally really looked forward to this evening, because I was eager to see the authentic institution, where the Sicilians themselves go, and try the local cuisine. And she, by the way, is very different from everything that we tried in other regions of Italy.
