Wedding photo session in Rome in September

Valentina and Oleg went on their honeymoon trip to Italy in September immediately after the wedding in Russia. Italy, in my opinion, is one of the most romantic destinations in Europe, and the daytime temperature in early autumn can easily approach thirty degrees, of course, above zero. It is not for nothing that the architecture and the thousand-year history of the development of one of the greatest civilizations of the ancient world attract millions of travelers from around the world, and especially lovers.

First, the guys flew to Milan with a transfer in Prague. Firstly, this option of travel was the most economical, and secondly, more informative, since Valentina and Oleg had about four hours of free time in the Czech capital. But back to our photo shoot.

Before arriving in Rome, the guys rented a car at the Milan airport and went to explore the cities of Italy. They managed to get acquainted not only with the northern capital, but also with Florence, Verona and Venice. Italy is interesting because in any city, village or trattoria you can stop for a few days, and, believe me, you will find something to see and try. A personal car gives freedom of movement and the ability to adjust your plans while traveling, so the route in Italy Valentina and Oleg changed depending on the mood, sometimes booking a hotel at the best prices on the well-known booking.com resource in the city you like even a few minutes before checking in .

Planning a photo shoot in Rome

Having met the day before the filming, we discussed the route plan. It was decided to start the photo shoot as early as possible with the first rays of the sun. In my opinion, this is the most advantageous solution for several reasons:

1. Since we could not ignore many of the Roman sights, which will be a little lower, the early morning is the only time when it is possible to find them almost deserted and have freedom in choosing an angle;

2. In the morning the softest beautiful and high-quality light, all photographers know about it;

3. At the end of September after 9 am in Rome it is very hot, and one of the main conditions that I set for myself on the set is that my heroes should feel comfortable, and the photo shoot should be a joy.

Rome at sunrise

So, in the morning we went for a walk in the morning city. The capital was only just waking up, and the Eternal City was only for us. However, rare Italians pleased Valentina and Oleg with compliments and sincere congratulations.

A wedding in Italy is a real event, and if the Italians decide on such a step, they spare no money or time for the celebration.

Fountain de Trevi

The first famous attraction was the most beautiful of not only the Roman fountains, but also the world's fountains, the Trevi Fountain. Decorated with many sculptures and dedicated to the god of the seas Poseidon, it is truly magnificent and impresses any tourist.

Altar of the Fatherland

Despite the fact that there are a lot of interesting places in Rome, the most famous are located within walking distance, and if you wish, you can always make an interesting route. Having admired the beauty of the fountain, we continued our walk and headed towards the Coliseum.

It is difficult to imagine and believe that the Altar of the Fatherland is just a monument and a monument to Emanuel the Second. White marble and a beautiful colonnade are impressive.

When the sun was just beginning to appear because of the church of Santa Maria di Loreto, located to the left of the Altar, some magical state reigned in the air. Both I and the young felt at this moment a surge of happiness and bliss. I hope my photos allow you to plunge into the atmosphere of this amazing city at least a little. Still, Rome is beautiful!

Roman churches are worth mentioning separately. Just imagine, there are more than a thousand of them in the city, and almost all of them are active. However, this is not surprising for Catholic Italy.

Coliseum

Of course, the Colosseum is the most recognizable Roman landmark, and to ignore it would be a crime. Despite the obviousness of this picture, you cannot return from Rome without a photograph against the backdrop of the Coliseum - neither parents nor friends will understand.

In order to remember the trip to Rome not only with excellent Italian wine and cuisine, we decided to add some extreme sports, and climbed onto Capitoline Hill, which is located directly opposite the Roman Forum. For the most advantageous perspective, Oleg and Valentina had to climb to the very edge, however you can’t do this for the sake of unusual photos.

Panorama of rome

The capital was already beginning to wake up, and we, deciding to move a little away from the center, went along the vibrant Via Del Corso towards Villa Borghese park, which offers a beautiful view of Rome with a view of Piazza Del Poppolo, the Vatican and St. Peter's Basilica.

Villa Borghese

I admit that Villa Borghese, located on the Pincho hill, is one of my favorite places not only for photo shoots, but also for personal hanging out with my girlfriend and friends.

Incredibly beautiful, with many sculptures, alleys, stunning cypresses, it was created to inspire creative people. In this landscaped park, decorated in the English style, it is quite spacious even during the day, and this is not surprising, because the villa occupies more than 80 hectares.

We planned to take pictures in this unusual place for about an hour, but did not notice how two flew by, and the guys admitted to me that they even returned here the next day for a romantic picnic.

Either for fun, or for Russian tourists, in the park next to the playground, a small hut, a cart and a tractor were cut out of wood. In any case, we could not find explanations for this work of Italian masters, but, of course, we took pictures.

It is worth mentioning the huge pines, or Italian pines. These beautiful trees are very common in Rome, and Villa Borghese has even huge lawns planted with pines. On an autumn sunny day, taking refuge in their shade with a loved one while enjoying the scents of fresh Roman air is a worthy option for a honeymoon.

I hope this article was useful and interesting for you.
